Alchemist is a character from Yami no Matsuei manga volume 5. In this volume we learn that Hakushaku (Count/Earl) has created a book world by giving a book its basic plotline and characters and letting the book write the story itself, but in his lack of creativity (or will to make fun of certain people) he based all the characters on people he knew from Shokan. Alchemist was modeled after Yutaka Watari, and as the characters didn't have actual names the alchemist is known only as Alchemist.
